Teamixed Privacy Policy

Teamixed is committed to protecting privacy globally and complies with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other U.S. state laws, Brazil's LGPD, and applicable Dutch and EU regulations.

Platform Role

Teamixed is a collaboration platform, not a broker, escrow, adviser, or legal intermediary. Users choose what to disclose, and we do not verify or enforce equity, revenue share, or other deal terms between users.

Data We Collect (by category)

Account data: name, email, authentication metadata, optional profile details (skills, links, avatar).
Project content: project titles and descriptions you post, skills requested, external join links, and applications submitted between users.
Communications: support requests and operational emails you send to us.
Technical data: IP (anonymized for analytics), device/browser info, and logs for security and diagnostics.

How We Use Data

Provide and secure the platform, authenticate users, and facilitate collaboration.
Communicate updates and respond to support requests.
Measure product usage via aggregated, cookieless analytics.

Analytics and Advertising

Google Analytics is configured without cookies (storage set to none, IP anonymized, Google Signals and ad personalization disabled). Google AdSense is set to request non-personalized ads by default. No tracking cookies are set prior to consent, and we do not build behavioral profiles. Advertising does not alter, profile, or enforce any equity or deal terms between users.

Legal Bases

For EEA/UK users we rely on contractual necessity (providing the service), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), or consent where required. For LGPD and U.S. state laws, we honor equivalent rights and bases.

Sharing

We share data with processors only as needed: Supabase (hosting/auth), analytics providers, and potential payments partners if introduced. We use appropriate safeguards (DPAs and Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers.

International Transfers

Data may be processed in the EU/EEA, the UK, and the US. When data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards as required by law.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. Upon request we will delete data within 30 days unless needed for legal obligations or dispute resolution. Soft-deleted data may persist briefly in backups and security logs before being purged.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability. California residents may opt out of sharing; Brazilian residents may request anonymization. Submit requests to privacy@teamixed.com and we will respond within required timeframes.

Children

Teamixed is not intended for individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure; please safeguard your credentials.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated via the site or email.
